Programs include Investigation of Fatigue, Distortion, Wear, Fretting, Corrosion, LME, Hydrogen Damage, and Elevated Temperature Failures of components produced by Cold Forming, Forging, Casting, Welding, Brazing and P/M Processes.

Service Failures of the Components such as Shafts, Crank-Shafts, Sliding-Bearings, Cylinders, Piping, Pressure Vessels, Lifting Equipment, Mechanical Fasteners, springs, Dies, Gears, Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Orthopedic Devices, Bridges and several types of other equipment parts and assemblies are carried out.

Premature Failures Investigated at site and a Laboratory Microscopic Examination with both optical and in-site Chemical Analysis of the parts as well as Bulk Analysis are carried out.
